One of the UK`s leading consultancies based on the North London*Essex border currently seeks an exceptional Technical Consultant*Technical Architect to head up their Managed Services Team.
This role will initially be for 6 months, though the likelihood is that it will roll on much further. Rate is negotiable and depends on experience. As well as managing the rest of the team, the Technical Consultant will be responsible for delivering a wide range of niche services, including stability and performance troubleshooting, WAN auditing, application profiling and impact analysis, security testing, solution design, implementation, performance management and capacity management.
Typically, 75% of work will be at client site. Skill set required for this role: excellent Windows Server Engineering skills (including design), thorough knowledge of Active Directory, good working knowledge of Exchange 2000 and good knowledge of network services. Fantastic customer facing skills are a must have. Experience with SAN storage, Microsoft IIS, SQL 2000 and WAN technology favorable, but not essential.
